Bright Tool Studio
Privacy Policy
Who we are
Bright Tool Studio is a portfolio of free online utilities operated by ThinkStack Limited, registered office at 51 Bracken Road, Sandyford, Dublin, D18 CV48, Ireland. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have when you use brighttoolstudio.com and its tools.
Questions or privacy requests: info@brighttoolstudio.com.
The short version
- Most Bright Tool Studio tools do their work in your browser.
- We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic and site performance.
- We use Google AdSense to keep the tools free, with non-personalized ads by default.
- We do not sell your personal data.
What data we collect
Tool inputs
Most tools in this portfolio run entirely client-side. The text, files, images, or other inputs you place into a tool stay on your device unless that tool explicitly tells you otherwise on its page.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and reports aggregate usage metrics such as page URL, referrer, country, browser family, and performance data.
We also use Google Analytics 4 to measure usage trends and on-page events. GA4 may use cookies or similar identifiers. We configure GA4 with IP anonymization and without Google Signals.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, limit repetition, and prevent fraud. Bright Tool Studio is configured for non-personalized ads by default, meaning ads are based on the page context and coarse location rather than a profile built from your browsing history.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. Google Analytics and Google AdSense may use cookies or similar identifiers for measurement, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregated reporting.
You can manage or disable cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies may affect analytics and advertising behavior, but the core tools are designed to remain usable.
Ad choices and opt-out paths
You can manage Google's ad personalization settings at Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of participating vendors' personalized advertising via aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
Legal basis
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on legitimate interests for privacy-friendly analytics and non-personalized advertising, and on consent if we ever move to personalized advertising in jurisdictions where consent is required.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Email info@brighttoolstudio.com to make a request.
Data retention and transfers
We do not maintain our own separate store of tool-input data for tools that run in-browser. Analytics and ad data are retained according to the settings and policies of Google and Cloudflare. Those providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, using their standard transfer safeguards.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the date at the top of this page will change.
